Ir
Ir + a + an infinitive is used to express future time. The English equivalent is to be going to (do something).
To form a question using this construction, the subject of the sentence is placed either directly after the conjugated form of ir or after the infinitive. For example, the following two questions are equivalent:
- ¿Van ellos a cantar esta noche?
- ¿Van a cantar ellos esta noche?
